Student Punished for Being Denver Fan

18-year old student Joshua Vannoy sued the Big Beaver Falls School District near Pittsburgh for disrupting his high school year when he was forced to move to another school district to escape taunting and bullying. Vannoy’s problems began when a teacher forced him to sit on the floor and be bombarded by spit wads for wearing a Denver Broncos jersey to class. (Vannoy had the bad timing of wearing the jersey right before a Pittsburgh Steelers-Denver Broncos playoff game). According to the teacher, Vannoy deserved the punishment for “being a stinking Broncos fan.”
