Forms of Education

June 29, 2008 Uncategorized No Comments

The way I see it, education is imparted in only two ways. One is through teaching from one’s own experience, and the other is by making the candidates experience them for their own. Both the forms are useful at their own point of times.

When the child first learns to go to school, it is essential that he learns from others’ experience – that is an experience for him. And by the time he goes out of college with a degree in his hand, and goes for a job, it now becomes important that he gains experience on his own by interacting with his field of choice.

When he has worked like this for a few years and gained some exposure, he now has two options. Either continue like this, or get his experience verified (in other words, get a degree based on his experience) and then increase his monetary worth in the market – for, after all, it is for money that a person works in this world of material living.

The second option is more prudent? He can opt for one of the numerous life experience colleges out there, but as a precaution he should choose wisely between the universities as many of them are fake. He should look for a university which is accredited. He should look for a university which has excellent customer care. He should look for a university whose ratings in the market are fairly high. This is because in online life experience colleges there is high chance that you would not be required to face the college at all.
