Today’s chiropractic colleges offer a broad academic and training curriculum geared with the modern chiropractor in mind. In present day, students that desire to pursue an education in chiropractic must understand that specific prerequisites must first be met prior to applying to a chiropractic college: Required coursework often includes a minimum of 90 undergraduate hours in various subjects including social sciences, humanities, and sciences.

Additionally, some chiropractic colleges provide extended healing arts studies and postdoctoral education and training in more focalized disciplines of applied chiropractic sciences, family practice, neurology, nutrition, orthopedics, and pediatrics – to name a few.
